Snowy Wings Publishing is pleased to announce that we will be publishing Melissa Roske’s epistolary middle-grade novel, CAMP, CRUSHES, AND OTHER CATASTROPHES, on May 4, 2027. Told exclusively in letters and emails, the novel centers on two thirteen-year-old BFFs and next-door neighbors, Maddie and Kenzi, who are separated for the summer: Maddie is at sleepaway camp where she’s getting badly bullied; Kenzi’s stuck in NYC, babysitting her bratty little brother while their mom is in law school. The girls survive the summer as best they can… by relying on each other.
Melissa is the author of the critically acclaimed middle-grade novel Kat Greene Comes Clean, a contributor to the Jewish MG anthology Coming of Age: 13 B’nai Mitzvah Stories, and a long-time member of the popular kidlit blog From the Mixed-Up Files of Middle-Grade Authors.
